COMSC 155e: JavaServer Pages and Servlets, Section 8280

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course covers JavaServer Pages and servlets, deployed on a Tomcat server. The objective of the course is to provide students with the experience and knowledge to be competent web programmers, capable of building real-life web applications with database interactivity, form processing, cookies, security, and dynamic content.

CLASS POLICY:
Lab assignments will be posted every Sunday, 7 days before their due dates.
Lab assignments are due at midnight of the evening of the due date  indicated on the course outline.
For questions on lab assignments, use the online discussion group.
Students may post and reply to questions in order to help eachother.
The instructor monitors the discussions and answers questions
when appropriate. Use this method so that all students benefit
from questions, answers, and clarifications.
Contact the instructor in person in lab, lecture, or office hour,
or by email. You can use the phone during office hours -- if you
leave a voice message, calls will most likely not be returned.
Half-credit for late assignments up to one week late. No credit thereafter. Late work will be accepted until noon on Oct 21st.
No credit will be given for work that is not original. Points awarded for lab work that is later found to be not original will be withdrawn. 
Lecture classes start at 7:00PM sharp. Do not trust classroom clocks -- check the time at http://www.time.gov/
